• 3lb Ground Beef or Cooked Brisket

  • 1 Chopped Medium Onion

  • 1 Chopped Medium Bell Pepper

  • 3 teaspoon Slade's River Rub

  • 24 oz Tomato Juice

  • 14.5 oz (1 Can) Beef Stock

  • 1–14.5oz Can Roasted Diced Tomatoes

  • 1 –10oz Can Rotel (Chili Fixins)

  • 1-6 oz. Can Tomato Paste

  • 1 packet (3 Tablespoons) Slade's Chili Seasoning (+/- for mild or spicy)

  • OPTIONAL FOR BEAN FOLKS:  2 –16oz cans Bush's Chili Beans, (Canned Pinto Beans in Hot Chili Sauce) 

Cooking Time: 20 minutes


  1. Brown beef in a pot with onions and Slade's River Rub.

  2. Drain the fat and return the meat and onions to chili pot.

  3. Add the Slade's Chili Seasoning to the drained/browned meat then dump the rest of the ingredients

  4. Mix and allow to simmer on low for 20 minutes.


Add shredded cheese before serving with crackers or corn chips.    Substitute your choice of protein.
